A Tatou Toi (Our Art)

These are Room 16's amazing Koru designs!

First, we looked at lots of Koru designs and talked about how Koru can represent families.  Then we talked about hot and cold colours and practiced drawing our own designs.  After that we choose our favourite design and did a good sketch copy in pencil, then sharpie.  Finally we used pastels to colour them in.  Please come in and see the artwork on our windows and in the office.

By Kaelyn, Jessica, Nishil, Cynthia, Mia, GJ and Room 16.

  3. Great job on using such bright colours on your art. I think you must have taken a long time to make them. They are very good!
